A reassuring surface

The elderly and infirm in particular need to feel secure underfoot and can worry about the risk of slipping and possible injuries. Altro Aquarius lacks studs which can feel uncomfortable to those, who for a variety of reasons, may be more sensitive to floor surfaces. Altro Aquarius therefore feels smoother than a traditional studded floor but still boasts a reassuring grip to allay the fears of slipping, making it highly beneficial to locations where occupational therapists and carers work.

Cleaning and hygiene – the added value of our PUR

Altro Aquarius features our ground-breaking Altro Easyclean Maxis PUR Technology offering significant savings on cleaning and maintenance over its lifecycle, compared to non PUR-treated safety flooring. It can be cleaned with an ordinary domestic cleaner, allowing users to maintain clean and hygienic floors, and provides excellent resistance to staining and chemicals.

The profile of Altro Aquarius does not permit the accumulation of dirt in those awkward to clean places, making it of particular value to the healthcare sector, facilitating infection control.

Ease of installation

Altro Aquarius is highly flexible and will cove and weld easily; it is therefore ideal for installation in confined areas, such as domestic bathrooms or en-suites.
